Can I add Pump-EZ directly into my distribution box?

Pump-EZ is designed to work in the septic tank and should be applied through the toilets, as recommended in the instructions. This ensures that the bacteria and enzymes can treat your entire septic system!

How can I be sure thePump-EZ pod is breaking down in my septic tank?

Our pod material is water soluble polyvinyl alcohol. This material dissolves rapidly in water and is eventually biodegraded. If you are concerned about the pod not breaking down correctly, feel free to drop the pod in the toilet and allow it to fully dissolve before flushing.

How often do I need to use Pump-EZ?

We recommend using Pump-EZ monthly to help maintain a healthy system. Depending on the size of your system, you may have to add additional Pump-EZ. One Pump-EZ Drop-In Pod is designed to treat systems with 1000-1500 gallon tanks.

Does Pump-EZ work better if I add more?

Generally speaking, the standard treatment of 1 pod is perfect for your system. Unless you have a system larger than the 1500 gallon standard, 1 pod will be perfect. For larger systems (over 1500 gallons), use 1 additional pod.

Can Pump-EZ be mixed / used with other products?

We don't recommend mixing or using Pump-EZ with any other products. If you have just used an antimicrobial product, like a bleach-based toilet cleaner, we recommend waiting at least 30 minutes before using Pump-EZ. This will allow the antimicrobial components of the cleaners to disperse sufficiently in the tank, allowing the Pump-EZ bacteria and enzymes to work effectively.

Can I use Pump-EZ if I have hard water?

Absolutely. Hard water has no effect on the bacteria and enzymes in this product. However, Pump-EZ is not designed to breakdown hard water mineral deposits.

My package arrived damaged, should I be concerned? What should I do?

If your package is damaged, but the pods are intact, you can simply put the pods in another container. If pods are damaged and leaking powder, we recommend sending us a photo and asking for a replacement. Reach out to our customer service number at (866) 662-4513.
